Wife of Harry Reid Seriously Injured in Car Accident l Seattle Attorney

The wife and daughter of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid were hospitalized after a serious car accident that took place on Thursday.  Apparently the minivan in which they were driving was rear-ended by semi tractor-trailer truck.

Landra Reid's nose, back and neck were broken in the accident and is currently listed in serious condition in a local hospital.  Senator Reid's daughter suffered what appear to be only minor injuries and was released. 

According to Virginia State Police, the Reids were traveling north on Interstate 95 in Fairfax County in stop-and-go traffic when their vehicle was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer loaded with rolls of plastic. The impact forced the Reid vehicle to hit the vehicle in front of them.  That car in turn struck a car in an adjacent lane. All involved were wearing seat belts which kept them from having life-threatening injuries. 

The driver of the tractor-trailer was charged with reckless driving.
