Wet roads caused car accident injuries in Lewis County Tuesday afternoon.
The driver of an Acura Integra was taken to Harborview Medical Center where he was listed in satisfactory condition.
The accident took place Tuesday afternoon when Kevin B. Archer was driving westbound in his Acura in the 900 block of Big Hanaford Road. He lost control of his car after he crossed the center line while taking a turn too fast.
His car slammed into a tree after he overcorrected and stopped after going into an embankment where he was trapped for almost an hour before rescue crews could attend to him.
According to car accident statistics, nearly 30 percent of car accident fatalities were caused by drivers driving above the speed limit.
