According to the Seattle Times, a woman has been taken to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries following a car-pedestrian accident in the View Ridge neighborhood.  Apparently a vehicle was traveling on NE 45th Street when the pedestrian stepped out into the marked crosswalk and was struck.  The pedestrian was taken by Seattle Fire Department medics to Harborview.  Police are investigating the accident.
