Fault and Liability
Based on this news report, it appears that the driver of the vehicle that hit the pedestrian may not have been paying attention to traffic conditions or signals. Was the driver distracted by something? Perhaps a cell phone? Was the driver negligent in any other way? I trust an official investigation will shed some light on exactly what occurred here.
