Not long ago, most states in the U.S. were simply frowning on the fact some of their drivers were talking on their cell phones without a hands free device or texting while driving.
Today, that frown was gone from being a nonchalant or no big deal to a serious trouble. In fact, in a recent
USA Today article, it shows that 60% of the individual states in the U.S. have some kind of ban on cell phone use without a hands free device while driving. 20 states ban all cell phone usage without a hands free device entirely.
