A two-car crash on the West Valley Highway, Thursday night, left two people injured.
According to officials, a pickup truck was driving south on the highway when it was suddenly T-boned by a panel truck at South 196th St. around 7:50 p.m.
Drivers of both vehicles, a man and a woman, were seriously injured in the collision and transported to an area hospital. There were no passengers in either of the vehicles.
How the crash happened in the first place is still under investigation. Officials have not yet determined which driver is at fault.
As a precaution, a fire truck was called to the scene due to fuel spilt from the panel truck.
The stretch of highway affected by the crash was closed off for more than an hour due to cleanup.
