According to reports, the first incident involved a man who was trapped between a shipping container and a forklift while working at the Port of Seattle. The man’s name has not been released, but officials say the Seattle Fire Department transported him to Harborview Medical Center following the incident, where he was pronounced dead.
The other incident involved a man who was pressure washing a boat inside the Seattle shipyard. Very few details have been released about this incident, and an OSHA spokeswoman says the investigation on this incident could take up to six months.
