PUYALLUP -- Two people suffered critical injuries when a motorcycle and large truck collided on SR-167 Thursday evening.The crash occurred around 5 o'clock near the intersection of Gay Road, according to Brandy Kessler with the Washington State Patrol.Kessler said the motorcycle pulled out into traffic without yielding and went around a school bus, but was hit by a large truck going the opposite direction. The motorcycle then crashed into a second vehicle while the truck swerved onto the shoulder and crashed through a power pole and into a chain-link fence. Both people on the motorcycle were critically injured. One was taken to Tacoma's St. Joseph's Hospital while the other went to Puyallup's Good Samaritan Hospital. The truck driver was not injured.
