Two people were injured in a collision near Walla Walla on Monday afternoon.Just after 3:30 p.m. a 20-year-old woman was driving north on Heritage Road when she struck a pickup truck, driven by a 37-year-old male, at the intersection with Highway 12. He was not injured.
The 20-year-old woman was injured and taken to St. Mary's Medical Center and her 20-year-old female passenger was seriously injured and taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Washington State Patrol was investigating the accident and cited the at-fault driver for failure to yield.
