Two people were injured a in a two-car collision near Enumclaw on Thursday.

Around 1 a.m. a 41-year-old woman was heading north on State Route 169 when she crossed the center line and hit another vehicle head-on. The other driver, a 64-year-old woman was critically injured.

Both women were taken to Harborview Medical Center. The 64-year-old was critically injured and is in intensive care. The 41-year-old woman was arrested for vehicular assault before being treated for her injuries.

Washington State Patrol is investigating the accident and looking for witnesses. They believe that alcohol played a role in the crash. Any known information should be reported to the police.
