Two people were injured in a collision near Pasco on Saturday afternoon. Around 1:45 p.m., while driving northbound on Highway 395, a 66-year-old female and 65-year-old male were struck by an 85-year-old who was attempting to turn left from the southbound lane.
The couple was taken to Lourdes Medical Center for medical treatment. It was not reported that the 85-year-old woman was injured.
Washington State Patrol is investigating the accident and cited the at-fault driver with failure to yield.
