On Monday night, while traveling on Interstate 5 in Seattle, two people were injured when a car struck their motorcycle.

The driver and his passenger were driving north when they changed lanes and hit the motorcycle. The two riders were thrown from the motorcycle, which crashed and caught fire in the middle of the freeway.

Both of the riders were wearing helmets. They were taken to Harborview Medical Center, their medical conditions unknown.

The driver of the car and their passenger were uninjured.

The investigation is still ongoing.
