Two men were seriously injured in a car accident on I-90, 17 miles west of Easton Monday evening.
The driver, Leonel Nava and his passenger Jose Vargas Moreno were taken to Harborview Medical Center for injuries.
Nava sustained head injuries and Moreno suffered from a broken arm and collarbone.
According to Washington State Patrol, Nava was in the left lane heading eastbound on I-90 when his Chevrolet Silverado crossed three lanes and the right shoulder, rolled, hit a tree and landed upside down.
Moreno was wearing his seatbelt when the car crashed and Nava was not.
Investigators suspect high speed and intoxicants were factors in this crash which destroyed the Silverado.
We hope that Moreno and Nava both make a full and rapid recovery from their injuries.
