Location: Highway 3 near Poulsbo, WA
Outcome: Two injured
Two Port Townsend residents driving a Chevrolet Malibu were
injured in a car crash after they were hit Wednesday around 2 p.m. on Highway 3, northbound, near Poulsbo.
The Malibu was hit by a Land Rover driven by a Bremerton woman. According to Washington State Patrol, the driver of the Land Rover was changing lanes when she hit the front of the Malibu, causing it to spin around, leave the highway and hit a tree.
The driver and passenger of the Malibu were flown to Harborview Medical Center. Both the driver, who was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and his passenger who was wearing her seatbelt, sustained chest and possible internal injuries.
The driver of the Land Rover was wearing her seatbelt and was uninjured, but was cited for making an unsafe lane change.
Our condolences go out to those injured in the crash and we wish them a quick recovery.
In cases like this, it is suggested that the victims seek the counsel of an experienced
Seattle personal injury lawyer who will ensure fair compensation for any injuries or damage you may have received. One study shows that those represented by an attorney generally receive two or three times the amount that those who are not represented receive.
