Two people were injured in a collision near Moses Lake on Tuesday morning.
A 32-year-old woman was driving northbound on State Route 17 when she collided with another vehicle traveling in the southbound lane, driven by a 25-year-old male.
She was injured and taken to Samaritan Hospital arm and shoulder injuries. The male was also injured but declined medical treatment.
The female driver was cited for failure to yield. Washington State Patrol believes that alcohol and/or drugs were also involved in the crash and additional charges are pending.

Driving Under the Influence (RCW 46.61.502)
A person is guilty of driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor or any drug if the person drives a vehicle within this state:
(a) And the person has, within two hours after driving, an alcohol concentration of 0.08 or higher as shown by analysis of the person's breath or blood made under RCW 46.61.506; or
(b) While the person is under the influence of or affected by intoxicating liquor or any drug; or
(c) While the person is under the combined influence of or affected by intoxicating liquor and any drug.
