Two brothers, both children died in a fatal Tacoma car accident Saturday evening.

The two boys, Jared and Jordan Davis were rushed to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital with critical injuries. Jordan died a few hours after he arrived at the hospital and Jared later died the next day after receiving emergency surgery. The driver of the SUV sustained minor injuries.

The boys were going home with their mother after attending the Monster Jam show Saturday around 10:30 in the evening when the accident took place. The three were headed east on Bay Street when the mother lost control of the car.
She then crossed over the median, causing an oncoming SUV to crash into the passenger side of the car.

The mother of Jared and Jordan, a Bonney Lake resident is under investigation of vehicular homicide. Investigators believe that drugs and alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.
