YELM, WA - Two people were killed in a head-on crash in the 11700 block of Vail Road, an area known as Four Corners.
Apparently a 1998 Mercedes driven by Daniel B. Hallock of Tacoma crossed the center line at a high rate of speed around a curve.
The car collided with a northbound 2007 Hyundai Elantra driven by Melanie C. Fisher of Yelm, and both drivers died at the scene.
Two passengers in Hallock's car were hospitalized.
SEATTLE - A drunk driver crashed into a parked car which was then pushed into a building.
Police say that the drunk female driver slammed her black pickup into a parked car with such force that she knocked it across a sunken alleyway and pinned it against an apartment building in the 200 block of South Fifth Avenue.
Witnesses say that the driver was visibly drunk.
