Truck Accident Kills 24-Year-Old Lacey Woman on I-5

A woman from Lacey was killed when her van was struck by a truck on I-5 this morning. Two other people were injured in the collision.

The van was stopped in the northbound lanes when it was hit around 3:20 this morning.

The 24-year-old woman was in the back seat of the van and died at the scene.

The other two people in the van were injured and taken to a nearby hospital.

It is unknown as to why the van was stopped on the freeway.

Lanes in northbound I-5 were blocked at the collision for many hours.
