Three people were injured when two vehicles attempted to pass a third vehicle at the same time and collided.

Injured parties:
Mario Guzman, 30,
Mora Cristian, 20,
Sergio Guzman, 28

All three of the Pasco men were treated and released from Othello Community Hospital after the accident. 

According to official reports Guzman's 2006 Chevrolet Malibu driven and Hay's 2004 GMC Yukon were southbound behind a McGinnis' 1993 Jeep Cherokee.  Hay’s vehicle then tried to pass Guzman’s car at the same time as Guzman pulled out to pass the vehicle driven by McGinnis.  Then Guzman’s car hit Hay’s vehicle and then the vehicle driven by McInnis.  McGinnis and Guzman's vehicles then went off the roadway.  Unsafe passing appeared to be the cause of the accident.
