Three people were injured in a multiple vehicle collision in Lynnwood on Wednesday.Around 9:15 a.m. a car heading north on State Route 99 turned left at 156th Street SW in front of a southbound Community Transit bus, colliding with it. The two people in the car were not wearing their seat bealts and were ejected from the vehicle. Their car veered into a second car, which in turn, hit a third car.
The two people in the first car were seriously injured and airlifted to Harborview Medical Center. The 17-year-old driver of the second car suffered neck pain, and the driver of the third car and the people in the bus were not injured.
The accident was investigated by Washington State Patrol and no other information has been released. State Route 99 was closed for an undetermined amount of time while the wreckage was exmained and cleared.
