Three people were injured in a two-car collision on Camano Island on Sunday evening around 4:45pm. The collision was caused by a car that was driven by 78-year-old Nancy Baird who was traveling west in the eastbound lane of Cross Island Road. Another car carrying 19-year-old Rebecca Wilson and 18-year-old Cilian Roche of Stanwood, was heading eastbound and was unable to avoid Baird's car after turning the corner.
Baird was taken to Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon and Willson and Roche were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett. Both teenagers were released in satisfactory condition but Baird's condition is still unknown.
