Three people were injured in a chain-reaction collision near Colfax on Tuesday morning.


A horse trailer being towed on northbound Highway 195 lost a wheel which rolled and struck a car traveling in the opposite lane, causing the driver to spin out and strike another vehicle driver by 29-year-old Christopher W. Beaver.

Beaver's car was destroyed in the collision and he was taken to St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in critical condition. Two of the other drivers were injured, treated, and released from a Colfax hospital.

No other information has been released about the accident, but Washington Stte Patrol is investigating the incident.
