The Reasons Why I Wrote My Accident Book

"If you’ve been injured in an accident, call me NOW! Right NOW! I can get you the money you deserve. It costs you nothing. I will protect your rights and fight for you!  I care about you!"

Sounds silly, doesn't it?  Yet this is what most accident attorneys say to try and get accident victims to hire them.  What's worse is that these statements say nothing about the lawyer, his or her practice and experience.  There's virtually no useful information given to help consumers make an informed decision on which lawyer to hire or how to look for a good lawyer to assist them with their case.

This is one of the reasons why I wrote my book, "The Ten Biggest Mistakes That Can Wreck Your Washington Accident Case."  I believe my job as a lawyer is not just to help my clients, but to also educate the public about accident claims and lawyers.  Regardless of whether an accident victim chooses to hire my office, or another lawyer, I strongly believe that the person should have as much useful information to help him or her make the best possible decision.  I have been contacted by too many people who initially hired a lawyer that was not very experienced, or who has bungled the case in some way, where the result had irreparable consequences in the case.
