
A man who was texting while driving hit a parked car and then slammed into a house yesterday in Hoqium on Simpson Avenue around 8:30 p.m. last night. Police Chief Jeff Myers said the 23-year-old man from Montesano that was driving an SUV hit a parked Toyota Yaris. After hitting the vehicle, he hit the side of a house, which caused major damage to the structure of the house.
No one was hurt in this distracted driving accident.
The man admitted to
texting while driving.
