A 16-year-old girl drove her Ford Mustang convertible into the path of an oncoming Chevy truck in White Center.
Apparently a man in a Chevy truck was going west on South Cloverdale Street and the girl was driving the Mustang was heading south on First Avenue South and "emerged onto South Cloverdale Street into the path of the oncoming Chevy and was struck on the driver's door.
Seattle firefighters rescued the girl from her crumpled car and transported her to Harborview Medical Center. The driver of the truck was not injured.
