A teenager was injured in a dirt bike collision near North Bend Saturday afternoon.
He was taken to Harborview Medical Center with a severe head injury.
The accident took place around 5 p.m. Saturday when a teenager from North Bend was riding dirt bikes with a friend near Patrick Mine Road. The teen crashed head-on with another motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist received minor injuries.
Alcohol was not a factor in the accident. Both were wearing protective gear but the teen didn't have the chin strap of his helmet on properly.
