Tami Michaels' 9/11 Experience Inspired Her to Help Find Work for Veterans

Tami Michaels, radio host and esteemed decorator, was staying a hotel next to the World Trade Center towers on September 11th, 2001. The footage that her husband, Guy Rosbrook, recorded was some of the first video of the horrific event that America saw. Looking at the images they captured is like punch to the sternum.

Mrs. Michaels told the story of the footage and more to King 5: her son leaving for Afghanistan, the PTSD that boiled through her life, the death of a family member, and ultimately finding a way to help veterans with their search for employment

Tami says something, a quote from her grandmother, that demonstrates true American resolve: "You can be bitter or you can be better."
