Struck by SUV, school bus hits sedan in Auburn

Around 3 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon the driver of an SUV dodged a car that had stopped quickly in front of him and instead collided with the back of a school bus, causing the bus to collide with a sedan.  The accident happened on Harvey Road N.E.  The driver of the SUV was trapped in his vehicle until the firefighters arrived, but appeared to sustain only minor injuries.

The other drivers involved seemed to sustain minor injuries as well, with a passenger of the sedan being transported to the Auburn Regional Medical Center as a precaution.  The driver of the bus was “shaken up,” but the two teenagers on the bus did not need any medical attention.
