Stolen Car Crashes into Fire Station After Running from Police

stolen car crashes into fire station
A stolen car crashed into a fire station in the University District after losing control of the vehicle.

A woman called 911 after hearing her car drive off outside her home around 3:10 a.m. today.

People located the car in the U-District at 11th Avenue and 47th Street.

When officers attempted to have the driver pull over, he fled the scene, causing him to lose control and smash into the fire station.

The two people in the car were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The accident damaged one door at the station.
