Melissa A. Cameron, 18, of Spokane was hurt on Tuesday in a two-vehicle accident on U.S. Highway 195. As she began to cross the highway at Cheney Spokane Road her 2004 Kia collided with a pickup truck.
Cameron was taken to a local hospital where she was treated for non life-threatening injuries. The driver of the Mazda pickup was not hurt.
The southbound lanes of the highway and one northbound lane were blocked while crews worked to clear the wreckage.
