A Snoqualmie man died from serious car accident injuries he received about one week ago on I-90.

Kenneth Treichel was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center where he died about a week after he suffered from car accident injuries.

The accident took place in the evening when Treichel was heading westbound on I-90 in his 2001 Kia Spectra.  His car went off the road just east of Sunset Highway, plunging 238 feet down an embankment hitting a tree.

Washington State Patrol announced on Thursday that Kenneth had passed away due to his car accident injuries.
