Sleeping Truck Driver Accident on I-5


The 22-year-old driving the semi truck fell asleep at the wheel and disbursed a lot of material onto the freeway around 5:30 this morning.

Troopers say he may face serious consequences for lying about his delivery log and sleeping schedule. The trucking company will be responsible for the clean up costs. Fifty gallon of gasoline also spread across the freeway.
