Seventeen people have been injured in a mult-vehicle, chain-reaction accident on Highway 2 that involved six vehicles. Included in the crash were a Trailways bus and a semi truck.
Apparently eastbound vehicles on Highway 2 had stopped to allow a dump truck onto the highway. However the bus and another vehicle did not stop. The bus hit the semi truck that had stopped in the roadway, and the semi truck then struck two other vehicles
The Trailways bus driver and a Leavenworth man have been cited for causing the accident which injured 17 people.
