In Poulsbo, Washington, Friday morning, a man driving a semi truck alone SR-3 just south of the Hood Canal Bridge swerved to avoid crashing into another car and rolled over. The trucks cab rolled over on top of a Honda being driven by an elderly couple from Sequim.
The crash trapped the couple inside of their Honda for a brief time before help came to the scene.

The couple told firefighters that they saw debris from the crash flying in the air and the semi heading toward them when the trailer rolled onto their hood.

Two other cars were involved in the crash as well.

According to fire officials, only one person was treated at the scene for a minor injury.

The highway was shut down for about 45 minutes at 10:45 a.m. so crews could remove the trailer. The road was opened completely around 1:30 p.m.
