Seattle Police DUI Unit Investigation Could Harm Drunken Driving Criminal and Civil Lawsuits

Seattle drunk driving victim's rights attorney Chris Davis, who represents drunken driving victims and their families, fears the impact of the current investigation into the Seattle Police Department's DUI unit. He worries that some DUI cases may be dropped on a technicality.

"They are potentially putting criminal and civil cases in jeopardy," he said in an intervire with KING5 TV in Seattle

"My concern though is if they're cutting corners as far as not running things past the appropriate supervisor or sergeant, what else are they not doing correctly?" he said.
