Seattle Police Cars Collide on I-5

Two Seattle police officers were involved in an accident in June while responding to an accident.

According to reports, two police cars were called to respond to a single car accident that had no reported injuries on I-5 near 85th street. Apparently they came upon the scene faster than expected which caused the second car to rear end the first.

The first patrol car was carrying two troopers and the second only had the driver.

All three officers were taken to Haborview Medical Center for minor injuries but were later released. Both patrol cars were totaled.
