A serious bicycle accident injury took place Tuesday morning in a collision with a Seattle Police Car.

The female bicyclist was taken to Harborview Medical Center in an ambulance wher she was to be treated for possible neck and back injuries. The officer driving the patrol car was uninjured in the crash.

According to police, the crash took place around 8:43 a.m. in the International District at 12th and Jackson.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
