School Bus Accident Sends Children to Harborview Medical Center

There were three elementary school students injured in a school bus accident this morning. The driver of a Volkswagen Jetta T-boned a Seattle school bus around 9 a.m. this morning near Beacon Avenue South and 38th Avenue South.

The was on its way to Van Asselt Elementary School with nine children in the bus that in first, second and third grade. The children were taken to Harborview to be check for minor injuries and the driver of the Jetta was treated for minor injuries as well at Swedish Hospital.

The cause of the crash is unknown.
