Roadway Debris Causes a Car to Flip



Debris on the roadway led to a car flipping over and other cars stranded. A man driving a big truck knocked down some sort of a pole, leaving a lot of wood debris on the roadway. The woman who hit the debris first, flipped, and was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries. The other drivers that hit the debris experienced flat tires.

“You can’t turn, you know, you will get in an accident or flip over so I had to run into it and now I have all of this damage to my car,” victim of roadway debris accident.

A police officer also experienced a flat tire when his vehicle hit the debris.

This is a reminder of how dangerous roadway debris can be to yourself and your vehicles. Be very aware of the roadway in front of you and up ahead to avoid hitting debris. If you see threatening debris on the roadway, you should 911 to warn officials of the dangers it is causing to drivers.
