Roadway Debris Accidents
Roadway debris is responsible for 80 deaths a year in the United States. Items falling off the back of a truck have a high risk of crashing into the person behind them through a windshield or the front of the car. When debris is on the roadway already, drivers turning away to avoid hitting it, cause a great risk of crashing their car by making sudden and extensive turns. This usually results in losing control of the vehicle, which can cause severe injury or fatality.
