Early Sunday morning, a 23-year-old Redmond man, Ever Ramirez was driving northbound on Bel-Red Road around 3 am when his car left the roadway near 40th St NE and crashed into a wooded ravine. Authorities believe the impact of the crash killed him instantly.
Residents who heard the crash nearby called 911. There were no signs of alcohol or drug involvement and Redmond Police think that speeding was the cause of the crash due to the impact on the car. Ramirez was wearing his seat belt and all of the airbags were deployed. No other information will be known until the results of the autopsy are received.
