A pregnant woman suffered car crash injuries in Seattle Tuesday afternoon.

The accident took place on 23rd Avenue South and South Massachusetts Street just before 5 p.m.

A pickup, two SUV's and one other car were all along the shoulder. One of the SUV's was on it's side and was pinnned between the pickup and car.

According to the Seattle Fire Department, one of the women injured was nine months pregnant and the extent of her injuries were unknown. The other four people received minor injuries.

Traffic was shut down on 23rd Avenue South for about 40 minutes.
