The police pulled her over for driving erratically and not having headlights on.
The drunken driving pregnant woman’s lawyer said:
"She is shortly due to give birth to her second child, and she had been to a baby shower party.
There was some alcohol and she had some wine and orange juice, and did not think she was over the limit. But clearly she was." He added, "It is out of character and she is deeply sorry for her actions. She is aware she has a baby to think about, and is deeply ashamed."
She pleaded guilty resulting in driving restrictions for 18 months and was fined $278.
