A police chief was seriously injured on his bicycle after colliding with another bicyclist. The Chief was listed in serious condition at a nearby hospital. He was treated at the scene for muscle and scalp injuries.
It appears that he collided with another biker,
fell off of his bicycle and landed in a ditch.
The other biker in the crash was taken to another hospital for her injuries.
It is quite unusual to hear of bicycle accidents without the cause relating to a motor vehicle.
Bicyclist need to be safe and cautious on bicycle paths were other cyclists are traveling.
