A police chase Friday morning on Highway 167 occurred when a woman refused to pull over for a traffic stop. The chase resulted in speeds of over 100 mph. The police backed off. When the police continued around a curve they saw 2 SUV vehicles upside down on the road. Apparently the woman caused two roll over accidents when she struck one of the SUV vehicles. One of the occupants inside the SUV was injured and taken away by ambulance
The woman left her vehicle and ran on foot. The police used helicopters and dogs to track the woman, but were unsuccessful. However, another motorist spotted the a woman covered in mud and walking near the road. She was arrested. The woman claimed that her boyrfriend was driving the vehicle but he could not be found
