Pizza Delivery Van Crashes into River

A pizza delivery van driver lost control of her vehicle and drove into a river. The 25-year-old driver Therese Marie Reinholdt was crossing a bridge when she overcorrected and lost control.

The van, owned by Pizza Ranch, went into a ditch and then into the river. Reinholdt crawled out of the passenger’s side window after she was unable to get out of the driver’s door window due to the river current.

The woman got on the hood of the delivery van and jumped toward the bank before the vehicle was fully submerged into the water.

The fire department was able to help Reinholdt before she was transported to the nearby hospital for minor injuries and exposure to cold weather conditions.

Her vehicle was eventually rescued from the river. It was submerged into 12 feet of water.
