Pit Bulls Maul SeaTac Woman

Henry Hall went out to get his newspaper Monday morning and saw what he thought were two white pit bulls "ripping up a rag" in his neighbor's yard but then realized that they were, in fact, attacking and elderly woman who lives nearby. 

He called 911.  When police arrived the dogs were still attacking the woman.  A deputys shot the dogs. 

The dogs owner has been charged for failing to contain and or muzzel the dogs as is required by a SeaTac city law. 

The victim was Huong Le a 71 year old woman.  She was on her way back from walking her granddaughter to the school bus stop when she was attacked.  She suffered severe wounds all over her body as well as a broken arm and broken wrist.  She has been listed in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. 

To date there have been 893 calls this year into county officials regarding either dog bites or a vicious dog.
