A pipe bomb was found in a pickup truck that was involved in a fatal crash on Highway 3 near the Bremerton Airport.
The bomb was discovered when officials were clearing a five-vehicle crash that killed one person and sent two others to hospitals.
Apparently the pickup crossed the centerline, forcing an oncoming semi-truck into another car, killing the driver. The semi then rolled over on a smaller car. The driver of the smaller car was trapped inside the car for two hours. He was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. Another vehicle crashed into the wreckage.
