A Seattle man was involved in a fatal pedestrian accident on I-5 Tuesday night.
Police responded to a call of a man walking along southbound I-5 near the Ship Canal Bridge, acting agressively towards cars around 2:30 in the morning Tuesday.
Just after the calls were placed, the pedestrian was hit by one car and then two others in a third lane. The drivers are cooperating with police and no charges will be filed against them.
It is unclear if the pedestrian killed in this accident was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Pedestrian accident statistics from the Federal Highway Safety Administration state that about 11 percent of all traffic fatalities involve pedestrians.
