Washington State Patrol pulled over a man for speeding on Interstate 5 in Everett Thursday afternoon, but the man refused to show his driver's license, or give a name. When the trooper asked him to step out of the car the man fled across five lanes of the freeway before getting hit by a car.
He sustained multiple broken bones and was taken to the hospital. Authorities are still trying to figure out the man's identity. No one else was reported to be injured in the collision.
