A pedestrian accident killed a woman when she was hit by a car in South Seattle on Tuesday evening.

A Fire Department Spokeswoman said aid responded to the accident about 6:30 p.m. at Rainier Avenue South and South Andover Street in the Columbia City neighborhood in South Seattle.

The woman who was killed was in her 70's but no other details were available.
